Institute of Quarrying
In 2018, Paul was approached by the Institute of Quarrying to create a garden that would celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Institute, educate people about quarries and biodiversity, and showcase the industry. Paul worked with leading businesses in the quarrying industry to develop a garden that told the story of a former quarry site, its life before quarrying and its life after as a haven of wildlife. The garden was created at the 2018 RHS Chatsworth Flower Show and at 420 sq metres was the largest show garden at any UK show. It won Gold, Best Construction and the coveted Best in Show. The garden was permanently relocated at the National Arboretum in Staffordshire after the show.
