Created as part of a 100-acre landscape, Paul created a new semi-formal garden which would link the house to the surrounding landscape.  The garden is created on a series of strong lines connecting the main spaces, gravel garden, herbaceous avenue, pavilion and lawn before opening into an orchard and eventually the predominant surrounding farmland.
